accidentally pasted the Greetingcard.org scam in my browser & my anti-virus
blocker said it bloked this fraudulent virus......do I have anything else to
worry about now that my anti-virus software said it blocked this
scam?

CLIENT:



I have a popup at the bottom of my screen that that says my computer
is infected. I have ran spybot and all the other antivirus/spyware
programs. Problem is the popup comes
back about every 60 seconds then fades out. Of course if I by the
antivirus package the popup is trying to sell I am sure the popups will stop.
How do I get rid of this constant nagging popup?

I can't open secured pages. I can't even get Internet
Explorer to work ever since Internet Explorer 7 was automatically downloaded to
my laptop. I've been using my sisters laptop like forever.

Sounds like the Internet Explorer is damaged.

Another alternative would be to use a different (safer)
web browser like Mozilla FireFox;
